Crockpot Balsamic Roast!

There’s a chill in the air and rain that doesn’t seem to end….it’s crockpot time!

Here’s what you’ll need:

3 pounds of beef roast chuck
1 onion
1 pound carrots
1 pound potatoes
Beef broth
Red pepper flakes
Minced Garlic
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar
Soy sauce
Worcestershire sauce
Brown sugar
Set your crockpot.
High 3-5 hours.
Low 8-10 hours.
Sear the roast on each side for 3 minutes. Place in crockpot.
In the skillet, sautée onions with garlic and spices. Pour onions over the roast.
Add diced up potatoes and carrots to the crockpot.
Pour in 1  1/2 cups of beef broth, 1/2 cup balsamic, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons worcestershire and 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
Cover and let it cook! Once done, remove the roast, carrots and potatoes. Slice up the roast and serve.
To make a quick sauce just skim the fat and add water and cornstarch until thick.
